Hello, this is Color Lume. Today, let’s talk about how to choose a nail color.
First, identify your undertone. Your undertone is indicated on the result card you have.

Nail colors are generally categorized into red and nude tones, which can be difficult to distinguish in terms of undertone. Therefore, we have selected colors based on beige and red as the basics.
As explained in class, warm undertones have more yellow in the skin, while cool undertones have more red. Therefore, warm undertones (including neutral undertones) will look brighter with nail colors that have more yellow and warm tones. Using colors that are too cool can make the yellow in the skin more pronounced.
Conversely, cool undertones have more red in the skin. Choosing nail colors in cool pinks and blues will make the skin appear brighter. Warm-toned colors can emphasize the redness, making the skin tone look dull.

Look at the colors above!
Cool tones are created by adding blue to a red base or by removing yellow. Colors that are cool and calm work well for cool undertones. Warm tones are created by adding yellow to a red base or by removing blue. These colors appear brighter and warmer.
If you choose a nail color with glitter, silver glitter works best for cool undertones, while gold glitter complements warm undertones and enhances your skin tone.
Nail color can vary slightly depending on how many layers you apply and whether it's fully dried. Be sure to test the color to find the one that you truly like.
As always, your mood and personal preferences are more important than the color itself. Don't be too constrained by color rules; feel free to enjoy the colors you love.
Thank you:)
